An exciting opportunity has arisen with an established niche family business which has been established for over 30 years they are making big noises in the industry and have accounts all over the UK and beyond some of their big clients are Tesco, Sainsburysand Harrods they are based on the outskirts of Exeter and have a great reputation for looking after their staff.


Role

  • You will be working closely with all parts of the business to ensure all customer related transactions and queries are dealt with accurately
  • Provide a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Able to identify issues/trends and opportunities to improve processes and communication.
  • Ensure all transactions are accurate so deliveries are full and on time with no errors / no delay in payments.
  • Ensure all paperwork is accurate and filed electronically or physically to be audit ready at any time.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming calls, diverting calls to relevant person when required.
  • Receive and process all UK Wholesale, Supermarket and Retail orders.
  • Fulfil, allocate and dispatch orders using Sage and customer platforms where required.
  • Maintain various Customer Service focused spreadsheets.
  • Assist with stock control and maintaining of Company database.
  • Routine filing of paperwork critical to check and be accurate.
  • Responsible for all Export and Import processes, including obtaining all relevant Customs documents for audit purposes.
  • Ensuring all deliveries are carried out correctly, liaising with DPD, Palletforce and PW Gates.
  • Setting up new Accounts, updating price lists and dealing with all Sales administration.
  • Ensuring a proactive, value add relationship between all departments.

Work Experiences and Skills

  • Must have experience in Customer Service dealing with complaints and have a strong confident telephone manner.
  • Ideally, have working knowledge of Sage 50 and be of an intermediate level on Excel.
  • High attention to detail, selfmotivated, accurate, ability to multitask with a positive "can do" attitude is an absolute must. Must work well under pressure.
  • Training will be given for import / export rules.

Benefits

Job Type Full Time, Mon - Fri (40 Hours)

Hours 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday with 4pm finish on Friday

Holiday 25 days plus B/H
**Salary Salary increases from £26,000 to £28,000 after probation period
