For this role you must be a qualified Cardiologist who has completed an accredited cardiology fellowship training program.


The Senior Director of Cardiology and Senior Cardiologist will work in Clario's cardiology operations group and primarily focus on the consulting solutions practice in Cardiac Safety.

This is a phenomenal opportunity to work at an industry leader, interface with clients and leaders in the clinical trial industry.

This will involve internal collaboration with other Clario departments including Marketing, Product Management and Business Development in developing and implementing Cardiac Safety Strategies, and providing assistance and Cardiac Safety consultation to Clario clients.

Collaboration with Cardiac Safety Imaging will also be desirable.

Provide consultative services, protocol development and expert report writing services to clients and supervise the consulting service.


Assist in reading ECGs, Holters, and other Cardiac Safety products, including assistance with Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA & QC).


Assist with the teaching and training of the Cardiac Safety operations teams of Cardiac Safety Specialists and Quality Control Specialists.

Assist with the integration of new Cardiac Safety assets/groups. - Interface with other departments and executives regarding cardiology issues, cardiologist activities, cardiac safety consulting, and cardiac safety strategies.

Represent ERT in discussions with clients concerning prospective or ongoing work.


Assist the Chief Medical Officer in developing and maintaining policies and procedures for Cardiology, including Cardiology Review Guidelines, Cardiology Review SOPs and other matters relating to Cardiology.

Keep abreast of the latest scientific developments in cardiac safety.

Work with the Sales team to provide sales support as required.


Work with the Cardiac Safety Product Management team to develop new product offerings and to optimize utilization of current products, as well as across product lines for wearable technologies.

Collaboration with Cardiac Safety Imaging to coordinate the scientific and consulting activities of the two groups.


OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Represent Clario by participating in external scientific, regulatory, and industry groups.

Education:

Has completed formal cardiology fellowship training.


Experience:

Board Certification in Cardiovascular Diseases required.

Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology training not required but preferred.

Minimum of 5 years Clinical cardiology and electrocardiography experience.


Knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process and in particular, experience with fulfillment of ICH E14 requirements for new small molecules, macromolecules, and oncology products.


Minimum of 4 years of experience working with the pharmaceutical industry in cardiac safety, cardiovascular therapeutic area, or general drug safety.

High ethical standards with commitment to represent Clario to the highest standards.

Recognized cardiologist with clinical experience in analysing electrocardiograms.

Specialized training/experience in ECG reading and/or electrophysiologic background desirable.

Active medical license in current location as permitted by local regulations.


Cardiologists who have retired from active patient care will not be required to keep an active license if this is not permitted in their region.

Maintains highest level of cardiology accreditation available in their region.
