Axcis are recruiting for a large, mainstream secondary school, who are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join their team, starting from April 2nd.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the cleanliness and security of the school premises.
Conduct routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs as necessary.
Monitor and maintain supplies inventory.
Assist with the setup and breakdown of school events and activities.
Perform regular inspections to identify and address safety hazards.


Shift Schedule:

Split shifts:
either 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Weekend work required every two weeks, covering lettings:

Saturdays:
approximately 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM

Sundays:
approximately 9:45 AM to 11:15 AM
Weekend work will be compensated at double time.

Rate of Pay:
Negotiable based on experience.


Requirements:

Previous experience in a caretaker or similar role preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work split shifts and weekends as required.
