Brake Press Operator / Brake Press Setter
The Best Connection are working with our client based in Birtley and is a well-established engineering company. Due to increased levels of business they now require a
Brake Press Operator to start immediately.


Duties include:

  • Set and running of Pyramid Roll Brake Press machine
  • Checking height, depth and other tolerances using calipers and gauges
  • Quality inspection of the product using visual and dimensional inspection
  • Bend and form the product
  • Working in a heavy industry environment

Hours of work:

  • Monday
  • Thursday 7.30am 4.30pm
  • Friday 7.00am pm

Pay rate:
- £14.16 per hour basic rate for first 40 hours worked
- £21.24 per hour overtime rate after first 40 hours worked
- £23.60 per hour overtime rate after 45 hours worked
