Description
Your role in school will encompass the following;

  • Full teaching responsibility in Year 5 (our client is a Junior School)
  • Working with school leaders and departmental colleagues to assess gaps in learning and boost attainment
  • Raising standards in behaviour and learning through embedding school policies and procedures
  • Focussing on developing student's proficiency in Literacy and Numeracy, particularly in light of the learning gap caused by Covid1
  • Becoming part of the wider school team, contributing to staff meetings and learning strategy getting the best outcomes for children possible
  • Working closely with the SENCO to support the more vulnerable children in the cohort


This role is to cover until the end of the academic year, and is suitable for a teacher of any experience; the crucial element is the drive and determination to make a true difference to the lives of pupils.

The school supports a diverse catchment, and pupilpremium is high, meaning the school supports many vulnerable students who require extra support.
