Are you a passionate and IT Project Manager professional looking to work for one of the public sector's leading organisation? Then Acorn Technology may have the position for you.

Acorn Technology is working with a leading NHS trust in Essex to find a Senior Technical Project Manager is accountable to the Digital Infrastructure Programme Manager for the technical project deliverables that form part of the digital infrastructure transformationprogramme and their transition into an operational environment.

You will be responsible for technical projects delivery within the digital infrastructure programme of works to enable the group's digital transformation from three locally hosted and disparate technical environments to a consolidated 'cloud first' operatingmodel.

Main duties / skills:

To set up project structures using PRINCE2 methodology and to manage the work of cross functional projects teams.
To assist the development of new working practices as new deployments are introduced managing difficult or contentious issues.
To ensure both technical and nontechnical project staff attend any necessary training to enable them to undertake their roles efficiently.
Liaise with both the internal development team and software suppliers to agree timescales and deliverables of new upgraded software/services.
To ensure that the new systems can be effectively handed over post go live and ensure mechanisms are in place for the provision of smooth day to day running of the new systems.
