Now recruiting for a Materials Engineer specialising in Electromagnetic systems and sub systems development.
This is a multifaceted position working closely the Design Team, additionally contributing, and communicating throughout a global platform.

The role:
This is an extremely exciting opportunity for an Engineer to work with world leading sustainable flight propulsion systems.

Support magnetic material evaluation / selection efforts for product development stages from early prototyping to new product introduction.
Curate existing magnetic data in a common & globally recognisable format.
Supply data to designer engineers and run external test programmes.

Support manufacturing processes development and perform supplier process & quality audits.
Support propulsion systems certification program together with engineers and quality specialist through detailed design reviews and test specifications.

Requirements:

A degree/equivalent in materials engineering, electrical engineering, or physics degree.
Material selection for stamping or lamination manufacturing processes.
Experience with soft magnetic materials, permanent magnet materials, understanding of magnetic units.
Knowledge of key inservice variables & interactions for magnetic circuits.
Previous exposure to electromechanical machine systems builds programmes.

The Engineer:

This role will suit a multitude of engineering backgrounds, the position is very specialist however is broad in approach, encompassing aspects from Materials Engineering and Electromechanical Machine Design.

The successful engineer will have gained experience with electromagnetic equipment and Motor Stator Lamination Process for electrical motor development.
Ideally engineers will have industry experience such as EV, EVTOL, Turbogenerators, Aerospace, Automotive, Marine.
