About our role


We are looking for a Care Systems Officer to join a motivated, forward-thinking established team who provides business advice and guidance and technical innovation of the CareDirector system and other social care systems in support of staff who deliver social care services to vulnerable people in Staffordshire.


The team are highly regarded, have a wealth of knowledge and a wide range of experience, we are looking for an inspirational self-starter with a drive to succeed, who demonstrates a positive 'can do' attitude.

Main Responsibilities

The role includes collaborative working with stakeholders to develop and deliver system processes and technical specifications that support business policies and procedures in line with legislative and service initiatives.


The broad scope of the role requires a results-focused approach, supported by well-developed analytical skills, technical experience, and project management skills.

The collaborative nature of the work requires excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.

In particular, we are looking for someone with,
- demonstrable experience in implementing improvements for services
- knowledge of social care and experience in managing change both within a technical framework and at an organisational/people management level.
- creditable experience in effectively and quickly building relationships with a variety of stakeholders to understand, influence and capture user needs and to develop new ways of doing things.
