Description
The YMCA Robin Hood group provides temporary supported accommodation for vulnerable young adults across Nottinghamshire.

To ensure residents are given the best opportunity to build a brighter future, we also provide transitional houses.

These homes serve as a bridge for residents who no longer require emergency housing support but still need guidance reintegrating into the community on their road to regaining independence.

We are recruiting for full-time Domestic Assistants to support our Transitional Homes in the Mansfield area.

Working a 37.5 hour week, Monday - Friday, you will be a vital member of our Housing team as you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and tidiness of allocated areas.

Our transitional homes are important in the journey of our residents to independent living and we rely on our Domestic Assistants to ensure our resident rooms, communal areas, kitchen and bathrooms are clean and tidy.

We also rely on you to check for any damage, maintenance needs or health and safety concerns.

It goes without saying, you will take a huge amount of pride in your work and have the highest standards in your work.

We will provide you with all the tools you need as well as full health and safety/COSHH training to ensure you are working in a safe manner.

If you have access to your own car, we pay £100 per month (included in your salary) for the use of your car for work.

This is an additional £1200 per year so help pay towards the running of your vehicle.

If you are looking to work for an organisation who cares about you and your wellbeing, the YMCA prides itself on the package of wellbeing we support all our employees.

At YMCA Robin Hood Group, you will have many additional benefits, including but not limited to:

  • Comprehensive well-being package
  • Cashback private medical and dental policy
  • Generous holiday entitlement increasing 1 day each year for your first 5 years
  • Regular ongoing training
  • Subsidised childcare and holiday clubs
  • Workplace pension
  • Pastoral support
  • Excellent opportunities for development and progression in an exciting expanding organisation.
