Do you have experience working in a financial environment, with brilliant customer service skills? Are you excellent at organising your own workload and enjoy working as part of a team?


If so, this part-time role as Student Accounts Controller may be ideal.


You will work as part of the Student Accounts team to control the collection of tuition fees due from students and sponsors, aiding the university's cash flows by authorising payment plans when needed.


This is a fast-paced role, and will require a well organised individual who knows how to prioritise their work to meet strict deadlines, especially during peak periods.


As Student Accounts Controller, you will:

  • Collect tuition fees from a section of students, including internal and external sponsors, assisting with the cash flows of the University
  • Discuss and arrange the payment of fees with students and sponsors on a casebycase basis
  • Control the external reporting requirements including the completion and submission of statutory forms in connection with fees paid to the University
  • Produce monthly reports for the cash flow committee and senior managers

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • GCSE English and Maths (Grade C or above) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a financial and customer service environment
  • Ability to display a good level of numeracy with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexibly under pressure, with mínimal supervision
