About the Role

Base Location:
Flexible, however our preference is that you will be based in one of our key UK offices, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Glasgow, Perth or Edinburgh.

Salary:
£61,100 - £91,700 + car /car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.

The primary purpose of this role is to calculate and apportion EPM's capital budget to maximise the value of the business benefits from the project portfolio within the constraints of budget and resource availability.

In addition, the role is responsible to define, set-up and drive the programme PMO (Portfolio, Programme and Project) standards and related functions including governance, planning, reporting, financial management, change control, risk management, project initiation, document management, resource demand management and key performance indicators.

To identify key programme stakeholders and formalise excellent relationships. To provide executive reporting to governance meetings and key stakeholders.


The Key responsibilities are:

  • Calculation and delivery of EPM's capital budget to maximise the value of the business benefits from the project portfolio
  • Responsible for the project budget and financial management of multiple programmes and projects to ensure delivery within the cost parameters set out in the supporting business case
  • Responsibility for the end to end project delivery and project management office of all EPM projects
  • Leads the Portfolio Value and Optimisation Steer Co ensuring the correct level of visibility, decision making and risk mitigation
  • Staff management for the PMO function and task management for PMs,BAs,SMEs and product owners

What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

  • Significant Project Management experience in managing programmes or multiple projects with a simultaneous execution period
  • Deep expertise in one or more core project management disciplines including, but not limited to, planning and estimation, solution delivery methodologies, governance, project controls, financial management, commercial management, release management, quality management and business change.
  • Strong commercial knowledge and financial management
  • Demonstrates strong scheduling, coordinating and time management skills.
  • Staff motivation and the creation of a high performance environment.
