Maintenance Assistant

Salford

£ £12.00 per hour

  • Monday to Friday_
  • 7am 330pm_
We are currently looking for an experienced multi-skilled Maintenance Assistant to be based in Salford.


We are looking for a driven individual to add expertise and dimension to the team at a large facility in Salford.


You will demonstrate flexibility and efficiency in responding to changing business requirements, and will establish good working relationships with other team members.

It is a hands-on maintenance role that requires experience and sound awareness of working safely with equipment.

Sound knowledge of Health & Safety and ability to follow instruction and work to plans.


Maintenance duties include;

  • Basic joinery
  • Plumbing
  • Building Services
  • Grounds work
  • Industrial cleaning
  • Assisting other members of the technical staff on site.
  • Help ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, maintaining up to date knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations and helping us to achieve our H&S target.

Additional responsibilities include;

  • Assisting in installing, commissioning and servicing plant equipment and industrial furniture.
  • Carry out and assist in planned/reactive maintenance to on site systems.
  • Administer and complete relevant paperwork.
  • Fair, consistent and courteous attitude in all dealings at all levels.
