CNC Precision are currently recruiting a CNC 5 Axis Miller/ Machining Centre / Setter Operator
Salary - £ £19.00 Per Hour, Plus Overtime & Benefits
Tewkesbury

We have an exciting new opportunity to join our established engineering company; we work on large high precision parts for all industry sectors.

Your duties as a CNC 5 Axis Miller / Machining Centre Setter Operator will include:

CNC Setting/operating, Correa, MTE, DMU, Doosan and Hermle 5 Axis machines
Loading and proving programs
Machining components to drawings.
Working to machining tolerances while ensuring the completed component is checked against the required specification

CNC 5 Axis Miller /Machining Centre Setter Operator Essential skills:

Knowledge and experience of setting CNC 5 axis machines with Heidenhain controls
Knowledge and experience of proving out and editing Heidenhain 5 axis programs
Knowledge and experience of setting Fanuc 3 and 4 axis CNC machining centres.
To be able to work under own initiative
The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

CNC 5 Axis Miller / Machining Centre Setter Operator Desired Skills:

Experience and understanding of working with large components up to 8 meters in length
Basic knowledge of CNC programming Heidenhain and Fanuc controls.
