Description

Company Description
We are Analysys Mason - global leaders in telecoms, media and technology (TMT) management consulting and research.

Since 1985, we have specialised in making sense of the industry's challenges and opportunities, helping our clients around the world to make critical business decisions.

Our consultants and analysts are based in 16 offices across 12 countries, and have taken on work in over 140 countries, making us a truly global company.

This is a fixed term contract (FTC) to cover a maternity leave (up to 14-month depending on start date).

As the Resourcing Administrator you will work alongside skilled and passionate professionals at the forefront of advising top telecoms, media and tech industry players.

Based in our London office, you will collaborate with our international teams to strategically allocate consultants (resources) onto projects, based on their availability, company and personal targets, geographies and skills and expertise.

You will work with Project Directors to understand their resourcing needs and with consultants to understand their availability and project preferences, with the goal to align both factors optimally.

You will also work with the Learning and Development team to support the scheduling of courses and development programmes.

Although this is initially an up to 14-month fixed term contract to cover a maternity leave, it is likely that the role will become permanent as our company keeps growing.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will span relationships across all offices and levels of the business and projects sold all over the world.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Allocating consultants to projects following project needs.
  • Managing and monitoring our resourcing system to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
  • Supporting the project signoff process.
  • Creating precise project resourcing plans within the forecasting system.
  • Liaising with consultants to update their availability (forecast).
  • Anticipating the impact of resources constraints created by holidays, sickleave, project location, etc.
  • Producing monthend reports.
  • Leading the induction process for new joiners, such as showing them the timesheet system.
  • Maintenance of the skills and language database.
  • Liaising with the HR team to provide insight into the current project pipeline situation, and team capacity.

Qualifications

If you have experience in a similar role in the Professional Services industry, you enjoy solving problems and want to work with industry experts across the world, then this is the right role for you.

We need you to have worked with a resourcing, staffing or timesheet orientated business, and to understand the constraints and impact that comes with it.

You need to be comfortable with Excel, and able to work with time constraints.
