Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC milling and turning machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and machining parameters to achieve optimal results.
• Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality and productivity.
• Conduct regular quality inspections using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimise machining processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist preferred, with a focus on CNC milling and turning.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Extensive knowledge of CNC machining principles, tooling, and machining techniques.
• Knowledge of the following machines highly desirable with training available: Turning: Mazak (Mazatrol & Nexus) & CMZ (Fanuc); Milling: Hurco (WinMax), XYZ (Prototrak & Siemens);
• Experience with programming and setting up CNC machines using CAM software; OneCnc & Hypermill. is highly desirable with training available.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain highquality standards.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
