We are currently looking for an experience property maintenance or general handyperson to join our team and work with the existing engineering team.

This would suit a hands-on person that has building maintenance experience - plumbing, joiner, electrician, or all-round handy person This is because we often need property maintenance experience to understand and overcome projects.

It's a great opportunity to compliment our team whilst learning new skills to install, repair and maintain specialist mobility equipment.

This could include baths, toilets, overhead hoists & stairlifts.

Whilst your expertise and experience will compliment our team you will also be supporting the engineering team as an equipment installer.

Full training will be given in-house and manufacturers training courses.

TPG DisableAids is a market leading retailer and installer of assistive technology devices and service back up to the elderly and disabled.

We have many accolades including recent BHTA (British Health Trades Association) Retailer of the year.

Once trained this rewarding role is field based and involves attending to maintenance visits, emergency callouts and installations on various types and makes of Overhead Hoists, Patient Hoists, Stairlifts, Specialist toilets, Baths and similar technical specialist equipment.

• Building maintenance experience or allround handy person
• Commitment to deliver excellen customer service
• Good problemsolving skills and faultfinding experience
• Good attention to detail
• Experienced at using hand and power tools
• Ability to work without supervision on own or as part of a team
• A full, clean driving license is essential
• Good verbal & written skills our customer base includes the elderly and less able and as such you will need patience and empathy to be able to communicate your findings
• Live within a commutable distance (Hereford) and have the right to work in the UK

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, fault find and repair property and specialist equipment (once trained)
• Work in various locations up to 60 miles of Hereford, on your own or part of a team
• Provide customer satisfaction through excellent workmanship and attitude ning is provided)

• Establish a good friendly working relationship with our customers
• Ensure the Company polices, and guidelines are adhered to at all timesanner required

• Comply with all Health & Safety requirements
• Ensure ALL company equipment is kept secure at all times
• Work closely with the serviceoffice admin team

Skills and Qualifications:

• To have experience in basicelectrical, carpentry and or plumbing relatable skills
• Customer focused
• To be able to use a full range ofpower tools and be able to demonstrate experience of doing so
• A full UK driving licence
