Band 7:
salary in range£22,235.81 to £24,525.67 pro rata (essential car user)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and forward-thinking Environmental Protection Officer to join the team. You will be responsible for your managing your own caseload, dealing with a wide range of environmental protection matters.


The Environmental Protection and Waste Team covers all aspects of environmental protection and enviro-crime, including nuisance, ASB, air quality, contaminated land, permitted processes and you will work closely with our Environmental Rangers around flytipping and other waste crimes.


The successful post holder will be self-motivated, have a track record of successful case management and enforcement, with the ability to communicate, influence and negotiate with a wide range of customers.

The Environmental Services team work on occasion, outside normal office hours and you would be expected to partake as required.
