Another key aspect to the role involves acting as a personal tutor, providing academic and pastoral support to ensure that students are empowered to make the best possible progress in their learning.

We have excellent services available to support you in this, including our Centre for Enhancement in Learning and Teaching (CELT), Student Advice, BG Futures, and Library, as well as our IT and Digital Learning teams.

The Senior Lecturer post also includes cohort-wide responsibilities for student recruitment and progression, in support of the Programme Leader.
