Job summary:


  • Learning needs within the Agency are very broad in scope. Internally delivered programmes include our award winning Initial Operational Development Programme (ODP), a full range of niche and specialist operational and systems training directly related to fighting serious and organised crime, as well as more generic programmes covering interpersonal skills, leadership, management and inclusion, diversity and equality. We also manage the Agency's Apprenticeship offering.

Job description:


  • This is a dynamic role; working as part of LD&T deliver team you will be responsible for designing and delivering a range of training courses to new and existing officers, to enable them to continue to lead the UK's fight to cut serious and organised crime

Person specification:


Your Responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop and deliver learning programmes using a variety of training methods.
  • Maintain records in a timely manner, in line with NCA and Learning and Development policies
  • Actively engage with business areas regarding their learning requirements and identify learning solutions to their problems.
  • Provide specialist advice and knowledge to colleagues and partners to support achievement of organisational objectives/HR People Strategy.
  • Role model continuous learning and professional development.
  • Contribute to monthly reporting, collection and preparation data for financial and management information.
  • Find costeffective solutions to organisational questions and challenges.
  • Promote inclusion, diversity, equality and wellbeing.
  • Be conscious of spend and ensure best value for the public purse.
  • Work collaboratively within and outside Learning, Development and Talent (LD&T).
  • Demonstrate commitment to the NCA mission and keep abreast of NCA objectives and priorities.

Qualifications:


  • The following qualifications/skills are essential to the role and proof will be required at interview:
  • QCF Level 3 or above in Learning & Development*
  • Please ensure the dates of any accreditations you are relying on, are entered on to the CV.
  • Should you progress to the assessment stage of the process, you will be required to provide a copy of the original certificate.

  • Demonstrate sound knowledge and practical experience in one or each of the following:
  • Intelligence Skills: Use of Intelligence Cycle to identify and manage relevant intelligence. Use of 3x5x2 to construct and disseminate intelligence in an law enforcem
  • Previous operational experience in Law Enforcement either in an Intelligence or Investigative role or delivered training in these areas in a law enforcement agency.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • A sound knowledge of learning and development principles and practice.
  • Good collaboration skills, establishing and developing productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
