We now have a vacancy for a full time Band 3 Linen Services Administrator to work at the Royal Oldham Hospital.

The hours will be 37.5hrs per week, 6am - 2pm.

Responsible for the secretarial and administration duties in the Laundry Department.

Responsible for the recording of staff details and updating personnel files.

Maintaining and carrying out general administration duties and support to the department.


Schedule meetings, devise and distribute agendas, take and type minutes and distribute to relevant members of staff, processing customer invoicing.

Point of contact for external and internal suppliers and services for new and existing products and communication to the relevant member of the management team

Take responsibility for the planning and prioritisation of own workload, using own initiative

Maintain the department filing system both in manual and electronic format. Create and maintain personnel records ensuring all information is current and complete

Ensure departmental stationery is regularly reviewed and is in stock. Be the a point of contact for the supplies department for any queries

Receive, process and distribute external and internal Trust mail, promptly and appropriately. Deal with all ad-hoc issues that arise on a daily basis
