The Role
Key purpose of the role is to assist the Asset Management Team in all aspects of delivery of the Council's planned investment and capital programmes;

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Comply with all compliance requirements e.g., Prevention of Legionella, Fire Risk Assessments, Electrical inspections etc.
  • Ensuring compliance with building industry regulations with regard to maintaining the Council's housing and Property Services stock.
  • Ensuring the building and maintaining of effective relationships between the team, contractors, customers and stakeholders to ensure the efficient delivery of compliance repairs or remedial work:
To be considered for this role you will require ONC BUILDING STUDIES or CIH/CIB Level 4 Certificate in Housing Maintenance, or recognised industry equivalent and NEBOSH/IOSH certificate in Managing safety, or recognised industry equivalent

The below skills would be beneficial for the role:

  • Experience of property inspection, and reporting, in property maintenance or construction sectors
  • Experience of property inspection, and reporting, in social housing improvements, planned and cyclical maintenance
  • Experience in a supervisory position
  • Experience of understanding specifications and contracts


The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering
£25 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
