Role:


We are looking to appoint two Quality Support Officers who will play a key role in the design and delivery of effective processes and policies to support quality assurance and enhancement of learning and teaching across undergraduate and taught postgraduate provision.

As a member of the Academic Quality and Development Team and reporting to the Academic Quality Manager / Policy Manager, the role holder will:

  • Contribute to the review, development and implementation of the University's framework of academic policy, guidance and teaching and learning projects;
  • Support a portfolio of quality assurance and enhancement activities: including programme approvals, annual monitoring and reviews;
  • Provide advice and support to staff from academic schools and departments on a range of quality and regulatory matters.
Two positions are available. The salary will be in the Grade 6 range of the University's salary scales.


Skills, Experience & Qualification needed:


Previous experience of providing professional advice and support to academic staff, knowledge of the national teaching and learning quality assurance agenda in Higher Education, and excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this post.
