_Screen Print Production Assistant for furnishing têxtiles _
Would you like to work as part of our print production team?


For those with a strong work initiative, we have a great opportunity to join our growing têxtile printing company in West London.

Ivo Textiles has a reputation for outstanding bespoke printing on fabric and wide width wallpapers for many market leaders and we work closely with our customers to sample their new collections on the hand table and sometimes to oversee production.

You'll be joining a busy, friendly and hardworking team, striving to do their best.


This is a physical job, due to the job specifications, a level of fitness is required along with an adept attention to detail.


No experience required Of course, if you do have any screen print or production experience this would be an advantage however aptitude and attitude are the most important skills you would bring.

Full training will be provided.

Job duties

  • Assist with loading and operation of various types of print and processing machinery rotary, flatbed, gali, sanforising and/or any other print processing machinery or tasks necessary for production as directed by management. This could also include hand printing as part of a two person team.
  • Ensure materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed. Including batching/sewing on fabric ready for printing.
  • Check screens and fabric prior to printing to ensure they are correct and in suitable condition to print.
  • Perform constant quality checks and producing high quality printing/processing that meet our customers' expectations liaising with Lead printer to stop production during printing if necessary to minimise any fabric loss or damage.
  • Complete daily production sheets, job sheets and any other paperwork in line with role.
  • Perform scheduled and regular basic maintenance checks and tasks as directed by the Lead Printer.
  • Ensuring machine is kept clean and Health and Safety standards are met.
  • Ensure any print screens are handled with care at all times to avoid damage.
  • Minimise 'down time' and maximise production working towards production targets as agreed by the management.
  • Working area to be kept clean and tidy.
  • Any other tasks as deemed necessary by management.
  • Overtime by agreement

Job holder profile - Qualifications and experience

  • GCSE English and Maths grade C minimum.
  • Ideally have print or production experience. Full training will be provided.
  • Ideally have some mechanical understanding, knowledge of safe machine practice standards and ability to carry out minor repairs and maintenance procedures training will be provided.

  • Have a good eye for detail, colour, fabric, print quality, machine operation
  • Physical agility, spatial understanding, and good coordination,
  • Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 25 kilos.
  • Ability to keep up machinery.
  • Excellent concentration to ensure any faults are picked up immediately and rectified
  • Ability to maintain focus on work during printing and not be distracted.
  • Dedication to team member morale, customer service, safety, quality and delivery
  • Ability to read production orders and complete paperwork.
  • Ability to use computers for operation and logging information.
  • Have good maths skills to calculate operational functions.
  • Be well organised
  • Work well under pressure without compromising quality and maintain a sense of humour.
  • Able to be careful with equipment and vulnerable items to avoid damage to screens, fabric or wallpaper
  • Be able to interpret instructions accurately
  • Be aware of health and safety issues when dealing with chemicals and machinery
  • Flexible to work in any area to meet needs of business.
  • Ability to work alone or part of a team.

Working hours
8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday. 30 minutes for lunch. Overtime by arrangement.


Annual leave
28 days including bank holidays
