A newly created full time role for a Senior Administrator within the ADHD Service, based at Finch Road FTB Hub.
Working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pmForwarding Thinking Birmingham is a community based 0-25 years Mental Health Service
The post holder is expected to undertake necessary routine correspondence on own initiative; in particular relating to transition of care with timely alerts and processing pf paperwork.
To accurately record and maintain patient's information in relation to ethnicity, address, contact numbers and alerts on RIO as appropriate.
To work on own initiative with mínimal supervision, prioritising own workload in line with objectives of the Consultant and medical team.
To ensure the timely production of an accurate clinical record of each patient intervention; whereby all appointments are booked and followed up with patients within agreed timescales, using RIO system for populating correspondence.
Typing of day-to-day correspondence and medical reports, Appointments letters and effectively co-ordinate the production of clinical and non-clinical reports, taking minutes and weekly MDT meetings in accordance with Consultant requirements using a PC with Windows based software, Excel and Access.
Acting as a focal point for the team; via face-to-face, telephone and written communication instigating appropriate action accordingly, as befits the sensitive and complex nature of the information involved, communicating in a timely and effective manner.
The post holder will be required to provide cover for other members of the administration team during periods of leave, this includes any other duties commensurate with the role.
