About the role
We are seeking a highly creative, motivated, and dynamic Maintenance Assistant.

You would be covering dual AXO locations in London (North and Central) and splitting working days between sites as per business requirements.

The ideal person for this role needs to be a team player, happy to promote drive and support the team to maintain an excellent residential experience to achieve 100% occupancy and retention goals.

Main Responsibilities and Duties

Provide Handyman services to the students such as changing lightbulbs, painting / re decoration, basic plumbing, General repairs.
Manage any General repairs onsite such as Communal spaces / stairwells / corridors / Fire Doors.
Day to day contractor management such as escorting any contractors and ensuring all relevant paperwork is received.
Health and Safety tasks such as Weekly Fire Alarm testing, Emergency Lighting testing, Legionella testing including temperature checks and weekly flushing of outlets.
Add / Close Maintenance tasks into the Housing Management system and run daily reports.
Work with the General Manager and the Building Manager to ensure compliance with Health and Safety Requirements.
Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers always.
Providing excellent customer service to Residents & other stakeholders
Be available out of hours when needed to deal with emergencies.

Pay:
£26,000.00 per year
