The EMEA FX Risk Management Solutions and Structuring team is part of FX Structuring and Solutions and focuses on helping corporate and investor clients assess and manage their FX risk.

The team sits on the public-side and works closely with FX Sales, Banking and Trading.


The team is responsible for identifying clients risk management needs, building tools to help quantify FX risk and design and price hedging solutions to mitigate risk.

The team works on transactional exposures (payables and receivables, forecasted cash flow, capex, bid to award) and translational exposures (net investments, dividends, earnings, asset/liabilities, Key performance indicators).


The individual will be based in London and responsible for supporting corporate and investor clients in EMEA with a particular focus on Western Europe.

The individual will, in his day-to-day role, develop risk management tools and solutions, create and publish FX content and trade ideas, price FX options, prepare client analysis and pitch books.

This is a client facing role where the individual will present risk analysis and solutions to treasurers and their dealing teams to originate FX business.

The role will also involve significant interaction with internal clients at a senior management level across FX trading & sales, transaction services, corporate and investment banking.


Qualifications:


  • Master Degree in Finance, Science or related field.
  • Fluent in English and additional languages welcome.
  • Extensive relevant experience
  • Experience in clientfacing roles, growing and maintaining relationships through value added service.
  • Entrepreneurial approach for business origination with demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in building Financial Models.
  • Experience in FX Option pricing.
  • Understanding of Basel 3, risk weighted assets, CVA, ISDA documentation to design credit mitigant solutions.
  • Understanding of Accounting and Financial Statements.
  • Coding skills : algorithmic, vba, python

Responsibilities:


  • Understand and analyse clients' FX exposures to provide best suited solutions in coordination with FX Sales and banking partners.
  • Build tools to help quantify client's FX risk.
  • Price and execute FX Options and help originate new FXO business.
  • Create and publish FX Risk Management content and trade ideas.
  • Maintain effective coverage of clients in allocated countries. This will include travelling to meet clients in addition to helping to organise and speak at inperson, multiclient seminars.
  • Contribute to achieving share of wallet goals and identify new business opportunities.
  • Engage with key business partners in sales and banking and promote upskilling through product training and providing relevant thematic content
  • Take a lead role in fostering an environment of collaboration within the team, with sales, and our internal partners.
  • Work with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
  • Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics. Be familiar with and adhere to Citi's Code of Conduct.
The Certification Regime is one element of the Individual Accountability Regime which came into effect on 7 March 2016.

This assessment will be carried out through extensive interviews, self-disclosures, permitted criminal record checks, regulated reference checks, credit checks and other background screening checks
