Managing the day to day organisation of our Out of School Club based at our Bright Kids Crabbs Cross Nursery setting in Redditch.

Ensuring a high standard of care, education and development of children placed in the club.

Overall purpose of the job
To provide high quality out of school care for children aged between 4 and 11 years old.

To be the responsible person to ensure smooth running of the club day-to-day

To ensure all health and safety and safeguarding policies and procedures are maintained within the club.


Main Responsibilities:


  • To provide effective day-to-day management of the Club, facilitating good practice by the staff team, with regards to individual and group work with children.
  • To ensure a high standard of care, education and development for children placed in the Club, incorporating the physical, emotional, social and intellectual development needs.
  • To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Manager.
  • To give support to other personnel within the Club/ Nursery.

Hours:

25 hours per week, during Term Time:7.30am-9.00am and 2.30pm-6.00pm, Monday to Friday

Up to 40 hours per week during holidays if required.


Qualifications:

Experience in either Playwork or Early Years is desirable.

A full clean driving licence is desirable.

Salary:

Up to £11.40 per hour. Subject to age and experience.
