Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing & Design Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team.

As a Marketing & Design Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts by assisting with various design projects, managing social media platforms, and executing marketing campaigns.

This is an excellent opportunity for a creative individual with a passion for marketing and design to contribute to our organization's growth.


Responsibilities:


Design Support:


  • Assist in creating and modifying marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, social media graphics, and presentations for both internal and external use.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop visually appealing designs that align with our brand guidelines.
  • Ensure all design materials are highquality, visually consistent, and meet project deadlines.
  • Creating training modules for internal use.

Social Media Management:


  • Manage and maintain our company's social media presence across various platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter).
  • Create engaging and shareable content, including images, videos, and infographics, to increase brand visibility and user engagement.
  • Monitor social media trends, track metrics, and provide recommendations for optimization.

Marketing Campaigns

  • Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (online and offline).
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure timely delivery of campaign materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, competitor strategies, and industry trends.

Content Creation and Copywriting:


  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and create engaging content ideas that resonate with our target audience.

Website Management:


  • Support the maintenance and update of the company's website, ensuring it reflects current promotions, products, and brand messaging.
  • Assist with search engine optimization (SEO) efforts to improve website visibility and traffic.
  • Ensuirng price list is updated on the website.

Department Management:


  • Liase with suppliers on any promotional/print orders, raising purchase orders and ensuring that the orders are kept up to date.

Sponsorship Management:


  • Working with the Managing Director to ensure all sponsorships are provided with the correct branding, whilst also collating content to post on our media channels.

Qualifications/ Attainments:


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, design, communications, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other design software.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an keen eye for detail.
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise projects, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong creative thinking and problemsolving skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content management systems (CMS) is a plus but not essential.

Skills:


  • Copy writing and proof reading.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Able to adapt to varied projects.

Experience:


  • 2 years in a Graphic Design or Marketing related role. (Preferred but not essential).
  • Knowledge of construction industry is advantageous.

Please Note - We do not offer Hybrid or Remote Working. This role is office based full time.

37.5 hours per week. (Monday - Friday 8.30am until 5pm)
