Reports to:

Claims Manager

Main Purpose of Role:

Handling your own caseload of complex, litigated and / or high value claims arising from insurer property damage claims to recover as quickly as possible that client's insured losses.

Claims will include damage to commercial and residential property, resulting from impacts, flooding, fire and subsidence amongst others.

Core Responsibilities:

Dealing with claims using our bespoke case management system;
Conducting initial enquiries;
Assessing liability and quantum in accordance with client service level agreements;
Negotiation with third party solicitors to achieve the best settlement in the quickest possible time;
Issuing of court proceedings where required;
Conduct of Court proceedings from issue through to settlement or trial;
Ensure full compliance with all office protocols client service level agreements;
Achieving on all own handled claims 100% data integrity compliance using our bespoke case

management system;

Full compliance with all financial transactions/Solicitors Accounts Rules;
Maximise fee earning opportunities without prejudicing client recoveries.
