Applications are invited for the post of a full-time 10PA Specialist in Urology at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.


The successful applicant will work together with Consultant Colleagues and all members of the Urology team at CUH to provide a comprehensive Urology Service.


The applicant will participate in medical audit, the Trust's Clinical Governance processes, CPD, and will provide professional supervision and management of junior medical staff.


The applicant will accept personal accountability for their own clinical practice and will work at all times within the GMC's Good Medical Practice and Leadership and Management for all doctors.


You will have completed a minimum of 12 years' medical work (either continuous period or in aggregate) since obtaining a primary medical qualification of which a minimum of six years should have been in a relevant specialty in the Specialty Doctor and/or closed SAS grades.

Equivalent years' experience in a relevant specialty from other medical grades including from overseas will also be accepted.


The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
