    Web Developer Job Description

    Green Shoots Recruitment Ltd is seeking experienced Web Developers to join a successful agency and collaborate on delivering work for renowned brands across multiple platforms.

    The Role:

    We are looking for a talented all-round Web Developer to join our busy agency team in a hybrid working setup. Your responsibilities will include building, maintaining, and optimizing client websites and digital platforms.

    This involves creating new websites from scratch and collaborating with the design & development team on existing projects. You will be responsible for developing and delivering professional online experiences, ensuring the effectiveness of digital assets such as websites, online services, and applications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • BUILD AND MAINTAIN CLIENT WEBSITES AND DIGITAL PLATFORMS
    • Develop and deliver professional online experiences, optimising digital assets
    • Collaborate with the design & development team on existing projects

    Requirements:

    1. At least one year's experience working professionally as a Web Developer
    2. Knowledge of Git and GitHub
    3. Able to work independently, collaborating directly with non-technical colleagues
    4. Ability to clearly communicate technical issues with non-technical people
    5. Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail

    Desirable Skills:

    1. Experience creating and working on applications that consume external APIs
    2. Good understanding of UX best practices and accessibility guidelines
    3. Experience running A/B tests
    4. Experience working at an agency or as a freelancer
    5. An eye for design and user experience

    Hybrid Working:

    We operate a hybrid working policy, allowing staff to strike a balance between studio and home working. We also offer flexible time arrangements.

    This vacancy is based in Wolverhampton; we ask that you consider the location when applying as this is not a fully remote role. You will need to live within a commutable distance.
