Finance Assistant Required for a Primary School in Wallington
At Engage Education Services, we've specialised in recruiting education staff in all roles for over a decade. We're currently looking for an enthusiastic Finance Assistant to work full-time at a fantastic school in Wallington.

Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we're looking for more high-quality finance staff to work with these schools.

About the role:

The role requires working Wednesday - Friday Term Time Only plus 1 week. The hours are 21 hours per week working 8:30 - 4:30pm

As the school finance assistant, you will be working as part of a close-knit team that works hard together to ensure the smooth running of the financial services across the school.

The finance assistants' duties can include:

Manage the preparation of the Financial Statements and the subsequent audit process through to satisfactory completion of the annual audit
Remain fully appraised of all financial rules and regulations that govern to ensure the School remains compliant with regulation and reporting requirements
Ensure all financial controls across the School are in place and work effectively and efficiently
Be the lead for all audit work and liaise with external auditors and staff on all relevant matters

The ideal applicant will have:

FCA/ ACA Qualification
A real passion for working within an education environment.
Experience utilising SAGE/ FMS within a finance role.
Knowledge and experience of account procedures.
High levels of computer literacy including Excel
