Head of Performing Arts Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the Performing Arts department, with a special focus on Physical Education.
Develop and implement an innovative curriculum that integrates performing arts and physical education to promote holistic development.
Organize and oversee engaging performances and events that showcase both artistic and athletic talents.
Collaborate with colleagues to create crosscurricular projects that encourage students to explore connections between the arts and physical activity.
Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure the effective delivery of both Performing Arts and PE lessons.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment where all students feel empowered to participate and excel in both artistic and athletic pursuits.

Head of Performing Arts Requirements:

Qualified teacher status with experience teaching both Performing Arts and Physical Education at a secondary level.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
A passion for both the arts and physical activity, with a commitment to promoting the holistic development of young people.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
A creative approach to curriculum development, with the ability to integrate performing arts and physical education in innovative ways.
Strong organisational and timemanagement skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
