Description

As a Builder at BlackStone Properties, you will play a vital role in the construction process, contributing to the successful completion of various projects.

You will work closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure that construction activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.


Responsibilities:


  • Interpret and understand construction plans and specifications.
  • Coordinate and schedule construction activities in accordance with project timelines.
  • Perform various construction tasks, including but not limited to framing, roofing, siding, and finishing work.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
  • Manage materials and equipment, including ordering, organising, and maintaining inventory.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the construction process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate progress, issues, and updates to project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior team members as needed.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a builder or in a similar construction role.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Certification or training in construction-related fields is a plus.

Pay:
£20,000.00-£21,000.00 per year
