A great entry level opportunity to springboard a career in clinical research within a busy Haematology Research Team.


The Nottingham Cancer Clinical Trials Team manage a large number of Haematology research trials offering patients access to a wide range of trials from intense treatment to observational and translational trials.

We are very focused on team working and all work together to be able to support patients entering trials and meet our contractual obligations with the various trial centres and companies.

This role is for Haematology Research Data Clerk.

If you are organised, have attention to detail, have an interest in or want to learn more about Haematology and are personable and can interact well with others then this could be the role for you.

You would be liaising with a wide range of staff including Research Nurses, Clinical Haematologists and external trial companies staff to ensure that the information you need to input to electronic systems is accurate and factually correct.

Attention to detail is imperative and the ability to speak up and query information is also a must.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities


To facilitate accurate data collection for the research team, and entry onto both remote data entry systems and into pre-formatted clinical report forms.


The post holder will receive and check documentation, reports and patient information, processing appropriately, including entering information on to the appropriate IT system, and retrieve information as and when required.

To provide appropriate support to the administrative and clinical staff within the research team.

Have a responsibility for data collection for multiple disease sites; which will vary according to each specific research team portfolio.

To work with the research team to assist in the delivery of high quality research

Salary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
