An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Community Care Worker within the Local Authorities Section 117 Mental Health Personalisation & Prevention Team based at Clay Cross Area Office.


The successful applicant will require good I.T skills, recording and processing skills and be able to demonstrate the necessary skills, knowledge and experience to undertake this role.


You will require an awareness of the need to maintain a high level of confidentiality and have an understanding of mental health and its effects.

You will need to demonstrate an appreciation of how someone's mental health might impact on their life and support needs.


You will need to have the ability to work as a member of the team and take responsibility for planning and managing your own case load.

You will be responsible for carrying out routine assessments and reviews for individuals with less complex needs.

You will need to be an essential car user and have an ability to be flexible.

The successful applicant will need to hold a NVQ lll in care. Applicants who do not currently hold this qualification must be agreeable to acquire one whilst in post.
