Sense Scotland are currently seeking a Part Time and Full Time Support Practitioners to work in our Visually Impairment and Learning Disability Services (VILD) within Day Support Services in East Dunbartonshire.

The working days for this role are Monday - Friday.


Supporting someone with a learning disability and sight loss requires specialist skills, however we will support and train you to ensure you have the skills to support effectively.

Our training will help you understand the impact sight loss has on daily life and provide you with the skills, knowledge and confidence to meet the needs of the people we support.


About TouchBases


Our TouchBases provide specialised services and support in a welcoming, safe and accessible environment, for disabled children, young people and adults.


It can be used as a drop-in service, a base for access to the wider community and a place for people to pursue their own interests.

Support is tailored to meet people's needs through discussions with the person, families and carers. We also provide support with health care needs and personal care.
