Ahoy there The Little Green Boat Company is on the lookout for a creative enthusiast to join our crew Nestled in the picturesque waterside towns of Maidenhead, Marlow, and Staines, we're all about crafting unforgettable experiences on the water.

Are you a student currently studying graphic design at uni? This could be the perfect opportunity to dip your toes into the world of design and gain hands-on experience in a fun, dynamic environment


Position Overview:

As our Part-Time Graphic Designer, you'll be setting sail on a creative adventure No prior experience in graphic design? No problem We're looking for someone with a passion for design and a willingness to learn.

Collaborating closely with our marketing mates, you'll have the chance to unleash your creativity and contribute to the visual storytelling of our little green boats and our rebranded mini-golf course.

We will also be shortly hiring new members for our boat hire sites and café.

That sound appealing as well? We would be happy to consider a hybrid role where you get to spend a day or two a week outside in the sun, as well as working on graphics from home.

Responsibilities:

• Dive headfirst into the world of design, assisting in creating captivating advertising graphics, posters, and promotional materials that capture the essence of our brand.
• Bring your fresh perspective to brainstorming sessions, sharing ideas and contributing to innovative solutions that elevate our marketing messages.
• Work alongside our team to build strong connections and make friends
• Embrace feedback as an opportunity for growth, eagerly making adjustments and refinements to your designs to ensure they're shipshape and ready to set sail
• Stay curious and eager to learn, soaking up industry trends and best practices like a sponge, and incorporating them into your design endeavours.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled as a student in a graphic design program at university. (preferred)
• Eagerness to learn and a passion for creativity are essential no prior experience required
• Basic knowledge of design principles and familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit are key we're all about working together to create magic
• Bonus points if you've got a love for boats, water sports, or anything nautical but a passion for creative design is what sets our sails

Set sail from Maidenhead, Marlow, or Staines


Hours:
Part-time, [5 hours a week]
