Hybrid Working Between Home & Coventry Head Office - Ansty Business Park, Coventry, CV7 9JU (1-2 days per week average)

What you'll get to work on:
As a Network Plan Specialist, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Network in capturing efficiencies achieved and developing plans for future efficiencies and provide detailed delivery output focused plans.
Building effective relationships with key business stakeholders will ensure the delivery of key recommendations to drive the Network forward, developing and modelling scenarios to focus direction of the business.
You'll shape the priorities and direction for the team to deliver analysis on time and to a high degree of accuracy, taking into account the key business and RIIO output trends along with stakeholder requirements.
- Supporting the business in maintaining commentaries on any significant differences between actual performance and regulatory or business planning submissions
- Interrogating core business systems and data available to ensure decisions are based on accurate information and trends
- Supporting the teams in determining and interpreting regulatory and business planning requirements, coordinating activities to ensure Cadent meets its obligations
- Consistently tracking and monitoring the Network's process outputs to understand implications and drive performance and adherence to the integrated plan
- Supporting the team to develop and maintain fit for purpose workload models to deliver the Network integrated plan objectives and outputs.
- Ensuring appropriate records are kept of historical performance, business planning forecasts and key decisions to help us respond to internal and regulatory challenges
- Maintain a robust change and governance process to ensure multiple requests are managed, communicated and delivered on time.
Who we are looking for:
- Valid current UK driving licence
- Analytical or Engineering Degree or equivalent is desirable but not essential if appropriate business experience and skills can be demonstrated
- Experience and understanding of planning and forecasting activities
- Strong ownership and impeccable integrity
- Experience of managing teams directly and influencing across virtual teams
- Be selfmotivated and proactively selfmanage to deliver continuous improvement and able to work with mínimal supervision
- Requires a collaborative, teamplayer motivated by developing others as well as themselves
- Able to demonstrate initiative and sound judgement
