Description
This is an opportunity for an experienced senior management accountant to make a difference in a newly created role. The role will actively contribute to the Finance Transformation which includes the implementation of a new finance system.


We're looking for someone to take the lead on improving the insight gained from our budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and long-range financial planning, and build a high performing finance business partnering function and embed effective budgeting and forecasting processes and systems across the Charity.

People are our greatest assets and in this role you'll make an impact on those we support by contributing to the Finance and Planning directorate's ambition to transform the way we work to build a service which is fit for the future.


You'll be part of a nineteen strong team and you'll provide leadership to a team of three with two direct reports, and you'll provide coaching and mentoring support.


What you'll do:


  • You'll create new methods of analysis that support the development of reports that are best aligned to our strategic ambitions.
  • You'll partner with business leads across the Charity to understand their needs for insights that enable effective decision making.
  • You'll improve the efficiency and effectiveness of internal management reporting processes using data and digital tools.
  • You'll analyse current data flow and reporting processes and make recommendations for improvements.

What you'll bring:


  • You are a CCAB qualified accountant with proven experience of leading the budget, forecasting and longrange financial planning processes
  • Experience of leading a Finance Business Partnering function and building a high performing team
  • A proven track record of making a significant positive impact through system and process improvements
  • Experience building rapport and constructive relationships with senior managers across the organisation to deliver continuous improvements

As well as flexible working hours, this role is offered on a flexible contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home three days a week.

You'll be required to cover your own travel expenses to the office.


Salary:
£68,303.00 per year
