We have an exciting opportunity in Newton Ferrers.We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated support workers to make a difference to the individual who chooses to use our service within her own home and in the community to live a fulfilled life and achieve their goals and aspirations.

To enable support, responsibilities will include:_
- Supporting the individual with everyday duties, this could include meal preparation and light cleaning duties.
- Supporting the person with school drop offs and pickups, school clubs and extracurricular activities.
- Supporting the individual with any access needs, such as attending activities, appointments, and the community to lead a fulfilled life and achieve what is important.
- Working in partnership to achieve the expectations of the of the person receiving the support the deliver the very best service. Following policies and procedures of Positive Steps.
Requirements for the position:_
- A person who is positive, enthusiastic, compassionate and a friendly individual to help support the individual who uses our service, you need to be prepared to take on duties required by the service user.
- Six months experience is preferred within health and social care, however not essential. we will look at applicants previous experience, transferable skills and qualities, along with personal experiences.
- A full clean driving license is essential for this role.

- A comprehensive training package, including mandatory training, service specific and further training opportunities on request. QCF level 2 will be offered on starting with Positive Steps (dependent on your current qualifications). Personal development with a dedicated manager to ensure regular supervisions and additional training goals are identified and supported to achieve.
- You will have access to a 24 hour Oncall service in times of need. There will always be an experienced and friendly member of the team who will always be happy to assist.
