This could be 2 separate positions or one full time role.

1x Part Time (15 hours) - Working in the City Centre clearing litter, washing down pavements/doorways/steps with a pressure washer, graffiti removal and any other ad hoc duties. Hours are Fri and Sat 5am-1pm with a 1⁄2 hour unpaid lunch break.


1x Part Time (22.

5 hours) - This is a varied role across departments:


  • Sunday 5am1pm with 1⁄2 unpaid lunchbreak providing Cleansing in the city centre using an electric van with a pressure washer fitted. Clearing litter, graffiti using wipes, pressure washing pavements and shop doorways, and any other ad hoc duties.
  • Monday 7am3pm with 1⁄2 unpaid lunchbreak working in a 2 person Deep Clean team clearing weeds, detritus and litter on arterial roads. The operative will also be required to cover other sections of the Cleansing dept to cover annual leave and sickness, which may also require a change to hours.
  • Tuesday 7.30am4pm with a 1⁄2 unpaid lunchbreak working in the Parks section on grass cutting.
