Commercial Manager
An exciting new opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join a leading aerospace and defence company based in Bournemouth with a salary up to £60,000.
The CommercialManager acts as the commercial lead on bids and programmes, focused on managing all commercial aspects for long-term service delivery programmes.
There are many fantastic opportunities for development into more senior positions over the next few years.Responsibilities of the Commercial Manager:
- Advising the business on all commercial and contractual matters.
- Identifying and managing commercial risks throughout the programme lifecycles.
- Directing negotiations with all customers to help maximise business value and minimise risk.
- Reviewing contractual terms, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled and commercial issues are actively resolved.
Person Specification of the Commercial Manager:

Hold or be eligible for SC clearance
:
- Previous proven experience of managing commercial elements in complex and challenging projects, ideally within the aerospace, defence and related sectors.
- Ability to manage and develop relationships at all levels.
- Experience in, reviewing and negotiating contract terms and conditions within the context of programme scope.
Salary:
Up to £60,000
This role will be ideal for you if you have previous experience within procurement and purchasing as a Commercial Manager, Procurement Manager, Contracts Manager, Category Manager, or similar.
