Description
Our client is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen.


ROLE


Purpose of the role is to act as a partner to Business Lines and Support Functions to deliver business impact through the employee lifecycle by building, developing and retaining a high performing and diverse workforce.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Adopt a Business Partner approach by building strong working relationships and building credibility, through regular communications with Managing Directors and Brand Managers to understand and meet ongoing/future business requirements, ensuring that HR play a part in the successful achievement of business objectives.
  • Work in partnership with managers to provide professional and proactive HR advice and guidance on all HR matters ensuring that Employment Law, Company standards and processes are adhered to.
  • Responsibility for the endtoend employee lifecycle including, but not limited to, Recruitment and Onboarding, Performance Management, Talent Management and Succession Planning, Reward, Retention, Attendance, Employee Relations, business planning and forecasting.
  • Deliver a proactive HR service to our business that is both commercially minded and customer focussed.
  • Work in collaboration with Payroll Manager, collating, analysing and reporting on employee data on a regular basis.
  • Produce regular HR metrics and reports based on business requirements
  • Adopt a continuous improvement approach by proactively responding to customer feedback and HR metrics data
  • Actively manage absenteeism, including medical referral management
  • Manage the data integrity of the HR and benefit system ensuring the information is accurate and comprehensive
  • Support change management and continuous improvement projects to successful completion which are aligned to business objectives. Advise MD's and Brand Managers of HR risks and ensure that all areas of change are legally compliant.
  • Foster a culture of service excellence, role model this as a customer champion and coach team members to deliver customer care, including through times of change
  • Coach, advise and support managers so that they manage their people effectively and maximise their teams' performance.
  • Contribute to due diligence, bids and tender activities, transition and TUPE exercises ensuring effective communication and that employment law requirements are met. compliance.
  • Act as a role model maximising the contribution that HR makes through the organisation both through own efforts and through supporting, developing and measuring others in the HR team.
  • Support Head of HR with compensation and benefits reviews

Knowledge & Qualifications:


  • Degree qualified
  • Chartered Member of the CIPD
  • Knowledge and experience of proactively managing full employee lifecycle
  • Strong knowledge of Employment Law and complex case management
  • Knowledge of HRIS system
