Description:

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Proxy Policy SME.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic team, and to participate in our clients transformation program, specifically to migrate away from the incumbent Bluecoat Proxy estate, to a mixture of SaaS and Virtual Proxy solutions.

The role is a Hybrid role, with 4 days working remotely and one day a week working onsite in Sheffield.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience focused on all aspects of proxy policy, from design, testing, and implementation, to policy certification and effectiveness review aligned to URL and Web Content filtering controls.
5+ years experience with Bluecoat ProxySG appliances.
Experience of SaaS Proxy solutions desirable but not essential (i.e. NetSkope, SkyHigh, Zscaler).
Scripting ability in python, perl, or alternative language is desirable.
Ability to build connections and work collaboratively across boundaries.
Willingness to continuously learn and share learnings with others.

Responsibilities:

Review, analyse and document the current baseline and develop the target technology posture.
Perform gap analysis of the current baseline policy against the target policy.
Implementing and maintaining an effective policy model across all regions, global businesses, and global functions.
Researching, engaging, and managing third party vendors where relevant to support functional objectives.
