European Road Freight Forwarder required. Our client is one of the UK's leading global supply chain firms.Due to the on-going success and profitable business wins our client requires an experienced Road Freight Forwarder to join a dynamic and growing team.
Due to expansion and development, they are now looking for an experienced Road Freight Operator to join their Eccles location.
Road Forwarder - Position Overview
- Working within a team of 40 people
- Handling European groupage services
- Arranging deliveries & Bookings
- Ensure legislative compliance in all areas.
- Arranging movement of freight from origin to destination, both international and national.
- Liaising with customers, overseas partners, and suppliers.
Road Forwarder - Position Requirements
- At least 2 years' experience in European Road Freight (desirable)
- Capable of Manually calculating costs & charges
- Understanding of taxable kilos
- Good customer service skills
- Experience with customs paperwork
- Ability to work in a team and be selfsufficient.
- Hold a full UK Driving License (No public transport to the office)
Road Forwarder - Position Remuneration
- Monday to Friday 9:00am 17:00pm
- Salary £26,000 to £28,000
