We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants to join our new team in Barnoldswick, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality two-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their family home.


Meet our service user


Our service user is a young man in his late teens who lives in his family home in Barnoldswick, he requires support on a 2:1 basis throughout the day to support his complex care needs.


He loves the interaction with his family and care team and enjoys being out and about in the local community.


Your role throughout the day will be to work alongside a registered nurse on a 2:1 basis to support with all daily tasks, this will include supporting his personal care, moving, and handling requirements, being vigilant to his care needs and attending to his clinical care when required.


You will assist him to enjoy his hobbies and interests and make close observations to always ensure his safety as at times his care needs can become quite intense.


Essential experience

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration

Desirable Experience

  • Autism Awareness
  • Oxygen management
  • Saturation Monitoring
  • Experience working with challenging behaviour

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time Days 2 3 shifts per week
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
  • 8:15am
  • 4:00pm *Thursday & Saturday
  • 8:30am
  • 8:30pm

Take a look at our payrates

Weekdays:
£13.00 per hour (£156 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Weekends:
£14.00 per hour (£168 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Bank Holidays:
£16.00 per hour (£132 approx. per 8.25-hour shift)
