Registered Manager (Supported Accommodation)

Gloucestershire/ Hybrid


Contract Type:
Permanent


Hours:
Full-time 37.5 Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (sometimes hours outside of this).


Salary:
£40,000-£47,000 per year

We are Caring for Communities and People (CCP), an independent charity since 1989, with 270+ staff and 80+ volunteers working together to prevent the causes and reduce the effects of homelessness, family breakdown and exclusion.


Role Overview


We are looking for a Registered Manager (Supported Accommodation) to support our established management teams and Registered Person, to ensure our Supported Accommodation Services for Children in Care/Care Leavers (approx.

80 beds) are compliant with the new Ofsted quality standards.


Key to this role is helping the Charity to deliver good quality homes, and achieving positive outcomes with those who need our support.


Being part of the Senior Management Team, you will play an integral role in driving the strategic direction of our Accommodation based services and therefore the Charity as a whole.


Requirements:

We are seeking applicants who may be existing Registered Managers or have experience with Ofsted or with Children's Homes.

However, these are new regulations (not Children's Homes), so it is not essential that you are an existing Registered Manager - we are also seeking those who have leadership and management experience in the health and social care sector.


If you have a Level 5 NVQ in Leadership and Management that's great, if you don't, we'll put you on the course straight away.

  • Young people should receive support that is person centred and tailored to meet their needs you will enable a culture that delivers this.

  • Young people should be enabled to feel safe and have their needs met you will prioritise Safeguarding.
  • Leadership and Management Standard
  • Young people should have confidence in the organisation providing their accommodation and support your leadership will inspire this.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to be based in the Gloucestershire area, however we are open to applicants near to any of our existing services (Bristol, Swindon, Worcester, Hereford, South Gloucestershire) because we can offer hybrid working.

You will need to have a full driving licence and have access to your own car.
