Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with class teachers in implementing effective teaching and learning activities.
  • Assist in the creation and preparation of engaging and inclusive learning resources.
  • Support individual and small group learning activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Cultivate positive relationships with students, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the implementation of behaviour management strategies to create a positive and safe learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to contribute to the overall success of the classroom and school community.
  • Provide valuable feedback to teachers on student progress and engagement.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
  • Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and follow instructions.
  • A patient and nurturing approach towards supporting students' learning.
  • Knowledge of basic classroom management and behaviour support strategies.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
