Description
1. Clean all facilities/areas within the Registered Care unit.


  • Assist, encourage and promote independence, i.e. enable individuals to participate in their own personal and practical care.
  • To attend to bed making, care of linen and clothing (which may be soiled and requiring sluicing) including laundering/ironing and the duties of a domestic nature as required.

Kitchen duties:

cleaning, basic food preparation.


  • General dining room duties, e.g. preparation, service.
  • Prepare light snacks/drinks and assist guests who require help with feeding.
  • Participate in appropriate training, employee development reviews, formal supervision, quality assurance and work towards an appropriate level of award.
  • Promoting the independence of guests whilst protecting them as far as possible from danger and harm.
  • Undertake administrative tasks and recording in relation to COSHH assessments, stock taking and appropriate record keeping.
